St Nicholas' Church, Harwich


Access:The Church is accessible to wheelchair users, including a disabled toilet. A loop induction system has been installed. Large print service books and readings are available.


Sundays (except 5th Sunday of the month)

8.00am BCP Holy Communion 1st Sunday, Holy Communion 3rd Sunday

9.30am Morning Praise (1st Sunday)

Holy Communion (2nd & 4th Sundays)

Morning Praise with baptisms (3rd Sunday)

Please note that on the fifth Sunday of the month a whole parish Eucharist is celebrated at just one of the churches.


10.00am Holy Communion (1st Wednesday) or Prayer Meeting 2nd, 3rd, 4th Wednesdays

Morning Prayer

Morning Prayer is said at 9.10am on Tuesdays at St Nicholas' 
Mondays at All Saints’ and Thursdays at St Michael’s.

1st Wednesday at St Nicholas, 2nd 3rd 4th 5th Wednesdays at All Saints’ 

Bells: The only peal of bells in the Harwich Peninsula, hung for the English method of full circle change-ringing. Bell ringing practice is every Wednesday, new ringers are always welcome – either established ringers or people who would like to learn ( or just find out more about it.) Just turn up at 7.30pm (south door). Contact Penny on 07855 756037 for more details.
